The archaeological museum is remarkably evocative of daily life in Gallo-Roman times: religion, living quarters, ceramics, glassware, weapons, tools, jewels, clothes, and so on. The magnificent white marble statues of Emperors Claudius (43), armour-clad Domitian, and Hadrian (121) along with his wife Sabine, are particularly impressive. Other noteworthy works include a marble laureled head of Apollo (2C), the silver bust of a patrician (3C) and mosaics from the Paon (peacock) villa, found at the site.
