This huge 15ha field of ruins reveals the daily life of the inhabitants of ancient Vasio. The excavated remains are those of the outer quarters of the Gallo-Roman city, as its centre (forum and surroundings) is now situated under the modern town of Vaison. The digs undertaken in the Villasse district and around Puymin hill have uncovered a shopping area, a sumptuous domus (Paon Villa) and some Roman baths.
