Off the coast of the Raz headland, the isle of Sein is battered by the sea and storms. The village, whose narrow streets are designed to offer shelter from the wind, is protected by tall dikes. It is possible to visit the Museum of the Mariner's Shelter. With Ouessant and Molène, the island is part of the Iroise Natural Marine Park, by virtue of its varied and unusual biodiversity. Exploring this barren landscape, strewn with reefs of shallow water, may well make you feel you have reached Land's End!
