This magnificent, untamed site in the historic region of Cornouaille (Kernev in Breton), 70m above the sea, is home to thousands of colonies of seabirds: common murres, European shags, European herring gulls, lesser black-backed gulls and great black-backed gulls, the rarest, black-legged kittiwakes, northern fulmars, common ravens and red-billed choughs. We recommend you visit the reserve during breeding season, in the spring. Nesting is from March to mid-July, with the birds' departures continuting until late August.
