The Archbishop's Palace (16C-18C) houses the rich collections of the diocesan museum. Also open to the public are the Throne room adorned with portraits of the patriarchs, the Room of the Grotesques painted by Giovanni da Udine, and the splendid Patriarch's library. The palace is enriched with frescoes by Tiepolo including The Fall of the Angels (on the ceiling above the grand staircase), the Judgement of Solomon (in the red room) and scenes from the Old Testament (in the Galleria degli Ospiti).
