The masterfully restored, 16C Palacio Villalón, recognisable by its handsome Renaissance façade, is home to 230 works of art, formerly the property of Carmen Cervera (Baroness Thyssen). This private collection will appeal to lovers of Spain, particularly as late-18C and 19C Spanish art, between Goya and Sorolla, is relatively little known. On show are Seville-born José Domínguez Bécquer (1805-1841), Manuel Barón y Castillo (1814-1884) and Eugenio Lucas (1817-1870).
