Located between the town and the end of the promontory, this garden with a viewpoint indicator was laid out on the site of the camp established by Simon de Montfort in 1214. He had just defeated the Cathars and razed their Domme-Vieille fortress, of which there are still some remains (not open to visitors), at the end of the promontory, beyond rue Paul-Reclus. On the way there, the mill known as Moulin du Roy overlooks the Dordogne valley.
