This modestly proportioned but richly decorated 16C church catches the eye by its twisting "marshmallow" towers. Lavish, Oriental-inspired details depicting birds and plants are visible. Originally adorned with Venetian frescoes and mosaics, these were replaced by modern works of art when the edifice was renovated in 1875.
