The former corporate headquarters of the Tribune Company's vast empire, this skyscraper (1925, Hood & Howells) is a veritable "cathedral of commerce". In addition to its spectacular Gothic style, "Trib Tower" is home to over 120 fragments collected by Chicago Tribune correspondents from 120 of the world's famous monuments that are now embedded in its outer walls. Look closely to find stones from the Berlin Wall, Notre-Dame-de-Paris cathedral and even the Great Wall of China.
