The main appeal of Brest's Museum of Fine Art is its collection of paintings representative of the Symbolist movement and of the Pont-Aven School (Émile Bernard and Maurice Denis). You will also see Italian, French and Dutch paintings from the 17C-18C and Les Nabis (Paul Sérusier). An art library offers its collection of 900 contemporary works of art for loan: residents can borrow a work of art as they might a book from a library.
