The renovation of the port area of Barcelona began with the urban project of the Moll de Bosch i Alsina, or Moll de la Fusta, a promenade lined with palm trees with a wide raised terrace. Used until the middle of the 20C to store wood before it was loaded onto ships, this quay has become a very dynamic area. The modernity of the contemporary sculptures contrasts with the peaceful sight of moored boats and pleasure fleets of the Sailing Club and Sea Club.
