The two façades of this basilica, which dates from 1760, have been perfectly conserved. The main façade is Barcelona's only example of a Baroque curved façade. The other Renaissance style façade was transported here from a neighboring church in 1870. The cupola (late 19C) is surmounted by a monumental statue of La Mare de Déu de la Mercè. Admire also the rich interior décor and the beautiful Gothic statue of La Mare de Déu de la Mercè by Peter Moragues (1361).
