Designed by Arne Jacobsen (1902-71) and Erik Møller in 1941, this building of concrete and grey marble from Norway is nothing less than one of the gems of Danish Functionalist architecture. Pure lines, interior walkways tracing geometrical juxtapositions on the mahogany walls, attention to every last detail (the architects even designed the door handles). The view from the top of the tower takes in the whole town.
