This cube built of brick and glass with a circular rainbow roof can be seen from afar. As well as its remarkable interior set-up, the museum presents Danish art from the Golden Age (1770-1900) to the CoBrA movement and Modernism, and on to contemporary movements. International art is also represented, in particular with Boy, a monumental sculpture by Australian artist Ron Mueck (2001). Head to the roof, where Your Rainbow Panorama by Olafur Eliasson commands a wonderful colourful panorama of the city.
