Find Levantine cooking in this vast, light-flooded space made ultra-comfy with plush carpets, velvet-upholstered chairs and modern light fixtures. An inviting bar and expansive patio merely enhance the mood. Many of the dishes are plays on traditional delicacies that span the region. We suggest going heavy on the starters, like the cold mixed spreads which includes hummus, roasted butternut squash dip, and charred eggplant with dill pesto. Little Turkish dumplings filled with white beans and tossed with roasted mushrooms is a more substantial mid-course before heading into the meaty entrees. Think grilled chicken thigh kebab with pine nuts or rase el hanout short ribs. The restaurant recently opened a second location in Bethesda.
