In Greek, Meraki means made with love, passion and creativity, which perfectly echoes the ethos of this warm, friendly bistro. Maxime Bocquier in the kitchen and Clément Richard in the front of house (even if he also trained as a chef) have chosen to focus on vegetables and seafood. All their produce is organic and local, including the burrata cheese from a local dairy. The single set menu changes monthly. Examples: stock of grey shrimp poured over barbecued cucumber and smoked eel, which explodes as your tastebuds are titillated by exciting, unexpected flavours. Mainly organic, sometimes natural Loire wines play the leading roles, without forgetting guest star appearances from other wine-growing regions.
