In this simple, taberna-style restaurant with no little charm, it is impossible to leave disappointed due to the friendliness of its service and a philosophy that focuses on the fine detail of its cuisine. It is run by its two owners (Roger and Chesco) who, as fate would have it, became friends at their children’s school and decided to embark upon this venture together with one of them working in the kitchen, the other in the dining room. Here, it is almost “compulsory” to order sharing plates with the idea of trying as many dishes as possible, hence the extensive array of contemporary options, with nods to both the mountains and the sea, and an appreciation of different techniques, impressive textures and a penchant for broths. The à la carte, featuring daily specials, is complemented by several set menus.
