To reach the rocky summit of the Rothorn, hop onboard a cable-car that leads first to Sunnega (alt. 2,288m), alongside mountain pastures, then to Blauherd (2,571m) from where a chairlift ferries you up to the summit. From there, you can enjoy a fine view east over the Oberrothorn as far as the Cervin that can be seen to the southwest, the Findel glacier to the south, Zermatt to the west and the Nikolaital Valley to the north.
