This Neoclassical Tyndall limestone building in the shape of an H, whose brass dome features a bronze gold-plated statue by Charles Gardet, the Golden Boy, clutching a sheaf of wheat in one hand and holding a torch aloft in the other to symbolise Manitoba's spirit of enterprise. Above the main entrance (north side), a pediment depicts Canada's motto "From Sea to Sea"; at the centre is Manitoba, the Keystone Province, joining east and west.
