During the early 1900s, Jane and Howard Dunham, a prominent Wethersfield couple, traveled the world to collect furnishings for the gracious brick house that had been in their family since 1875. The Georgian-style house, which passed to the Wethersfield Historical Society with the Dunham belongings intact, has been restored to reflect the period of 1907-1935. Rococo Revival wallpaper, trompe l'oeil cornices and crystal chandeliers are among the featured appointments.
