This palazzo belonged to the Viti family, the owners of the most renowned marble, stone and alabaster factory in Volterra. One of the family, Giuseppe, an alabaster merchant, was also Vizier and Emir of Nepal! The palazzo houses fine collections of Chinese drawings and porcelain, while the walls are decorated with striking stencil designs. The 16C cellars, where wines and other local produce can be tasted, are home to Etruscan and Roman remains.
