The Archaeological Museum houses magnificent funerary stelae, including those of Demetrias, decorated with very vivid frescoes (3C BC), and the touching sarcophagus of a six-year-old child. The museum also has objects from the Neolithic period (habitat, stone and terracotta figurines, pottery, tools), a remarkable set of gold jewellery, amphorae, Mycenaean vases (second millennium BC), Hellenistic and Roman pottery and terracotta pieces.
