The neo-Renaissance Augusti Palace built in the early 20C houses a collection of Spanish art from the 18C and 19C, as well as a full panorama of Basque painting (Iturrino, Regoyos, Zuloaga). One floor is devoted to the local painter Fernando de Amárica (1866-1956), a landscape painter who was a disciple of the Spanish master of Impressionism, Sorolla.
