This church houses the Reliquary of St Hadelin (founder in the 7C of Celles Abbey whose community moved to Visé in the 14C). This 12C Mosan work in repoussé silver has end panels from an older reliquary (1046) which show Christ crushing the asp and basilisk (a mythological beast) one side, then crowning the two friends St Remaclus and St Hadelin on the other side. Some of the side panel scenes are attributed to Renier de Huy.
