Dominated by the Miguelete Tower, the cathedral, despite its Baroque façade, dates mainly from the 14C and 15C. It is said that the Holy Grail is found here, in the form of an agate cup, in the chapel of the Santo Cáliz. The building is lit by a beautiful lantern tower, with alabaster windows, a material also used in the statuary. It houses Renaissance works, including an altarpiece by Fernando de Llanos and Yáñez de la Almedina, and a museum of sacred art.
