This blue-tinted limestone abbey-church has a long nave extended by a narrow chancel. The sober aspect of the decor is reminiscent of the Cistercians, while the spacious interior exudes an impression of power. The impressive star-shaped vault rests on two limestone pillars. The church also displays a group of medieval sculptures, two of which depict St Bridget, Sweden's patron saint. Another masterpiece is the impressively ornate altarpiece (1520).
