This "sound" museum occupies the former Buurkerk church-hall and boasts a magnificent collection of 18C-20C mechanical music instruments. Here, you can admire old metronomes, music boxes (some that play automatically), pianolas and "orchestrions" (an organ imitating the instruments in an orchestra) which were used in cafés and dance halls. In particular, note the mechanical Steinway piano (1926) and the automatic violin by Hupfeld (1910).
