With its chequered style typical of the region, the Hôtel Mauroy is one of the finest examples of 16C Troyes architecture. Completely restored by the Compagnons du Devoir in 1966, since 1974 it has housed an impressive collection of 11,000 hand tools from the 17C-19C and masterpieces by the Compagnons. The contemporary scenography does justice to their manual dexterity and craftsmanship. Don't miss the library, which boasts 32,000 volumes.
