The Praetorium or king's castle, or even "Castillo de Pilatos" (Ponce Pilate's castle) occupied one end of the Roman forum and was linked to the arena by vaulted tunnels that can still be visited today. It became a museum in 1968 and exhibits, among others, the Hippolyte sarcophagus, a beautiful work thought to have been sculpted in a Greek workshop in the 3C BCE.
