This temple dating from 1417 is situated away from the town walls and closer to the forest. Its architecture is unique in Sukhothai, with ditches, a brick wall and traces of a schist enclosure that once surrounded the temple. A low wall and slate-slab floor surround the mondop, the four walls of which depict images of Buddhas in different postures - seated, standing, walking and reclining. The use of different materials demonstrates a real expertise in construction techniques.
