This museum provides a comprehensive introduction to the French Caribbean's most popular drink, St James Rum. Visit the museum, with its collection of photos and posters; the 18C horse-drawn mill; the distillation house which retraces the history and different stages of production; the distillery with its metal architecture; and the park and station with its locomotives which once transported the sugar cane. A small train provides tours (with commentary) around the plantations, leaving from the rum distillery.
