The district of Paramé is an eastward extension of St Malo. The highlight is the Grande Plage, which stretches out beyond the St Malo city walls as far as the Pointe de Rochebonne. A lovely promenade runs along the beach's 3km embankment. This seaside resort is packed with cultural heritage: there is the Grand Hôtel (1881-1882), renowned for its thermal baths and 180° view, and the Villa Duguay Trouin (1888) bordering the beach; the neo-Flemish design of the Villa Remember (1903) at no 65 boulevard Hébert, and the Villa l'Argonne, with its fine enamel façade, on boulevard Chateaubriand (no 42).
