Housed in the former bishop's palace, this museum is named after a famous local man, who was a painter and Parnassian poet. Created in 1911 by the authors Ary et Marius Leblond, it was gifted the collection of Lucien Vollard - brother of the art dealer of Cézanne and Renoir - in 1947. It has a collection of modern and contemporary art, in which Réunion art is also represented.
