Turning right as you exit the Souillac Museum, follow the coast for several hundred metres until you reach Gris-Gris beach (swimming prohibited). Gaps in the coral reef expose the coastline to the ocean's fury as it pounds against the cliffs in a deafening roar. The landscape can be admired from the little stands and benches overlooking this fascinating stretch of sea, where deep blues and greens blend together under a blanket of foam.
