This constantly renewed museum-cum-show boasts over 300 automatons and mechanical toys from the 18C-20C. Most were manufactured by the Roullet-Decamps firm, embodied by four generations of automaton creators. The collection contains jacquemarts from old clocks, entertainment and shop window automatons and modern-day robots. Many still operate including an amazing 1920 jazz band in full swing, a metro station of almost life-size proportions and a whimsical underwater fishing scene.
