A tour of this vast museum, built between the Siem Reap river and the archaeological park, will enable you to place the region's many temples in a historical and cultural context. After a general chronological presentation, several themes will help you decipher the region's rich history: religions and beliefs, major figures of Hinduism and Buddhism, important rulers, mythical animals, etc. Two of the rooms are dedicated to the park's iconic treasures: Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.
