The rugged rocky islet of Es Vedrà, rising out of the sea at over 385m/1200ft in height, is the object of extravagant legends and myths. More importantly, it is in one of Ibiza's nature reserves and thus protected and monitored, particularly as it provides shelter to the Balearic lizard. You will not be able to climb onto the craggy islet, but you can get close on a boat trip from Sant Antoni. The view is particularly fine from Cala d'Hort beach and even better from the Torre des Savinar defensive tower.
