The Rivière spouses, owners of the estate, reconstituted the villa of a wealthy Creole family in the late 18C with decorative objects picked up on their own travels. The tour of the villa, which is depicted by two stories built out of basalt stone and a surrounding veranda, finishes in the garden, which combines practicality with beauty.
