The heart of the old Moorish town of Ronda is a delightful labyrinth of picturesque little streets littered with museums, such as the municipal museum in Palacio de Mondragón, churches, convents and noble residences. Be sure to visit the 18C Casa del Rey Moro, and its secret staircase, which leads right down to the river, or the magnificent doorway of the Palacio del Marqués de Salvatierra (18C). The San Sebastián Minaret is all that remains of the 14C Nasrid mosque.
