This museum is located along the river in the old Romorantin-Lanthenay quarter. The collection, dedicated to the history of the Sologne, its natural heritage and its lakes, costumes and economy, is housed in three mills. Typical trades and skills of yesteryear are highlighted through an exhibition of traditional old tools. The museum also presents Leonardo da Vinci's forgotten project for Romorantin through a series of drawings, plans and models.
