This diagonal pedestrian alley is a notable exception to the grid pattern in the city centre. On Saturday nights the mariachis vie with high-decibel trendy bars, and on Sundays there's a lively flea market. Plazuela de los Sapos continues along a little street of the same name full of antique dealers. There are many finds to be had here, from sugarloaf pans to old photographs of Puebla from the days of Porfirio Díaz.
