This house, built in 1865 by Hadji Aleko Tzetkov, is one of the oldest examples of the National Revival style in Plovdiv. On entering, you will notice a superb oval drawing room with a carved wooden ceiling. Restored in 2003, the residence now houses a permanent collection of art by Bulgarian masters from the 19C to the present day (David Perets, Atanas Stoilov, etc.), in addition to temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists.
