The symbolist painter Gustave Moreau (1826-1898) had his family house transformed and enlarged to create a museum devoted to his work. Over 6,000 works, paintings, sketches, drawings, watercolours and a number of wax sculptures are exhibited here, in the apartment and the studio. You will be able to admire, among others, copies of Masters' works (Raphael, Carpaccio and Botticelli) by Moreau. The ground-floor rooms have been restored.
