If you want a break from crowded Lowdermilk Park and Vanderbilt Beach, Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is the place to go. Poised on the heavily developed shoreline of Naples, this delightful park offers more than a mile of unspoiled beach against a backdrop of sea oats, cabbage palms and mangroves. The Cocohatchee River finds its outlet to the sea through Wiggins Pass, at the park's north end. Also at this end, a 30ft observation tower clears the jungle canopy to provide glimpses of the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings.
