A squat building with two sturdy towers, two chancels and two transepts, this cathedral is typical of the 13C transitional Westphalian style. Notice the interesting statues on entering the south porch of Christ and St Paul, the church's patron saint. The wide central nave lies beneath rounded vaulting. Keep an eye open for the astronomical clock (1540) and the rich furnishings of the Chapel of the Holy Sacrament.
