The frescoes of the small St-Gilles chapel are truly its highlight! The remains of a priory run by Ronsard, the chapel's apses are home to a masterpiece of Romanesque art in the form of three large Christs in majesty painted in the 12C and early 13C. Lovely paintings also adorn the ribbed vaulting, in particular the Combat of the virtues and the vices to the west. Reproductions are on display in the City of architecture and heritage in Paris.
