The village of Maglič, surveyed by the ruins of a medieval castle, stands on the road to Kraljevo, at the top of a hill overlooking the Ibar River. Built in the 13C by Archbishop Danilo II, the fortress is protected on three sides by the river and has two wide entrance doors with late Gothic elements. In the 15C, a Turkish army garrison was stationed there. This location commands an exceptional panoramic view of the Ibar Valley.
