The East Tyrol Museum is housed in Bruck Castle, the former stronghold of the Counts of Görz, and is dedicated to the region's antiquities, handicrafts and folklore. The Knights' Hall has retained its medieval bare beams and rafters with traces of colouring. Wall paintings can be seen in the chapel. The Albin Egger-Lienz Gallery presents the work of this Expressionist painter who was so inspired by the Tyrol.
