This old cotton mill is part of the Plagwitz industrial site which has been superbly converted into a centre for the creative arts. A place of work for almost 4 000 workers in the early 20C has been transformed into a buzzing arts centre where 120 artists (including Neo Rauch from the New Leipzig School) have their studios and hold private viewings. Guided tours of the complex leave from Halle 20A, where an exhibition relates the history of the building.
