This nature reserve lies north of Andújar in the foothills of the Sierra Morena overlooking the valley of the Guadalquivir. Its approximately 75 000ha of landscapes form a patchwork of open pastures grazed by wild herds, and ravines with vegetation that provides a prime habitat for deer, wild boar and lynx. The rapid streams are good for fishing and there are plenty of waymarked trails for hikers.
